As always, I try to accomplish SOMETHING on my bucket list for my birthday each year.  This year, the most attainable item on the list was going to the racetrack and trying my hand at lady luck.  A few close friends came to join me at Indiana Grand/Downs including (prepare for a shout-out) Rachel, Morgan, Ryan, and Will.  Initially it was Rachel and myself watching the races.  It was exciting!!  We had ZERO idea what we were looking at as far as the race stats were concerned and we essentially ended up betting with either favorites or names that we liked.   Race-wise I pretty much came out even with my winnings (a little bit in the black - sooo...yay!).  Morgan bet ONE time.  On a horse named Morgan.  She won.  Of course.  It was fantastic.  

 

Later Will joined us and he taught us how to play the tables (digital....cuz Indiana is lame....but it was still fun).  We had a blast! Especially since I took out $80 to play with, bought some food, drinks, and played games and STILL came with around $85.  WHooT wHOot!! Good times.
